Privacy

slotbid.lol runs without accounts for almost everything. This page lists every piece of data the site keeps, and there is nothing kept that is not listed here.

If you only look at the board

Nothing that identifies you is stored. To count how many people are here and to hold “one hype vote per slot per day”, the site keeps a salted, one-way digest of your IP address and browser user-agent. The digest cannot be turned back into either. Your IP address itself is never written down.

A theme choice is kept in your own browser’s local storage. It never reaches us.

If you sign in with Google

We store your Google account id, name, email address, whether Google says that address is verified, and your avatar URL. That is the entire record. We never receive or store your Google password, and we ask Google for nothing beyond your basic profile and email.

Signing in creates a session. The session cookie holds a random token; the database holds only its digest, so the database alone cannot be used to sign in as you.

If you list or claim a slot

The listing itself is public: name, studio, links, artwork and the details you fill in. A claim also records the handle and any contact detail you provide, so we can check the claim is genuine before handing over control of a listing.

If you place a bid

Bids are payments on a public blockchain. The site records the transaction hash, the paying address, the amount, and any name you chose to sign the bid with — and publishes all of it on the ledger. That is the point of the ledger, and it cannot be undone: the blockchain is not ours to edit.

No card details, bank details or identity documents are ever collected.

Clicks

When you click through to play a slot, the site counts the click and the two-letter country code, if a network in front of us supplies one. Counts are aggregated per link per day. No individual click is tied to a person.

Who else sees it

Nobody. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics vendors and no data sold or shared. Outbound links go to third-party sites that have their own policies; once you leave, you are on their terms, not ours.

How long it is kept

Sessions expire after 30 days. Presence digests are kept as a single row per visitor and carry no history. Listings, claims and the payment ledger are kept for as long as the board runs, because a paid ranking that quietly forgets what was paid is worthless.

Removing your data

Sign out to end a session. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email hello@slotbid.lol from the address you signed in with. On-chain payments and their ledger entries cannot be removed — they exist on a public blockchain independently of this site.
